I went to my mom’s house for a couple days with a cousin who used to be a really good friend but we grew apart a bit and now we have reconnected a bit. It was fun. My mom’s is always fun. She owns a bed and breakfast and when you visit her there is endless good food and chatting and adventures to Walmart. Her pantry is also full of wonders. I can always find sugar babies and Lindt chocolate; two of my favorite things.

I brought thrush home with me from my mom’s. It sucks. It was my half birthday and she made me a cake! It was yellow cake with homemade chocolate frosting and I couldn’t resist the 3 helpings I had. (I have a half birthday because I share a birthday with baby Jesus so my mom gave me my own special day.) I love sugar! I absolutely love it. I try to break up with it everyday but then it appears in the form of M&M’s and I can’t resist especially when I am in a boring work meeting and I am about to fall asleep and my defenses are so weak and I give in because I love sugar…….especially in the form of chocolate!

So, I am tired, depressed, and my right boob hurts again so I have nothing for you. Nothing you hear???!!!! So I share a blog with you that brightened my day and made me laugh out loud.

Very funny.

All I can think about is the cake that is downstairs in the kitchen closet. Someone at work is having a baby and we bought her some cake to celebrate. Everywhere I turn someone is eating this amazing looking cake and telling me how wonderful it is. I know that it is the good frosting too! The really sugary kind that makes your heart race and your brain float as soon as it hits your tongue. And it has some sort of creamy center that is making me weak in the knees just imagining what it must taste like but I can’t know for sure until I actually taste it!

I have had about 5 pieces of watermelon gum, it is not helping in any way. I think my yeast has a major hang over and needs some more sugar to make the hangover go away.

I think I need someone to lock me in a room for detox.

I probably should have avoided the place but I had just ran a very mini-triathlon and felt fairly positive I deserved some clogged arteries and an achy right boob. And boy was it good, right up until I woke up the next morning with the achy right boob and a sore throat.

Since I had broken my diet I decided to really let my candida party with a cinnamon bear and some white bread, then some french fries and finally to top it off 3 chocolate cupcakes with about a cup of frosting each and the sprinkles not forgotten. Yes you read that correctly. In my own defense I could not get on my flight and was very upset about it, hence weak and needed some excuse to binge on cupcakes with frosting and sprinkles.

So then came on a massive sugar headache which I slept off and then rewarded with another cupcake. Yes you read that right. My throat then started to ache more and my ears became clogged and my right boob ached to the point that I finally realized that the cupcakes and cinnamon bear and bread wasn’t worth it. IT WASN’T WORTH IT! (note: the sundae was worth it.)

So I am beginning again but this go around I will be much stronger and wiser. To quote a very wise person “Sugar is poison” (by Mushbelly).

I strongly suggest you all try the no sugar thing to see how addicted you actually are. No fruit by the way, sugar is sugar.

My goal is 2 weeks and then have some fruit to see how my body reacts.

Good luck.
