The SWWL:

I just received horrible service at your location. I was appalled at the lack of service. To be perfectly honest there was no service whatsoever and I saw 3 associates!
It was today, December 10 at 1:00 pm. Me and a friend walked in and tried a sample and then went over to the cakes to make our selection. One girl answered a phone call while the other tried to get her to transfer it to her. She did transfer it and picked up another line. They both were on the phone for about 4-5 minutes. I assumed there was no one in the back or they would have called that person up front. Neither of them made eye contact with us or told us that they would help us in a moment. We looked at our watch at 1:02 and I decided that if we hadn’t been helped or acknowledged at 1:05 then we would walk out. At 1:04 they both finished their phone calls and then proceeded to speak about it to each other when suddenly a 3rd person came out from the back and started speaking to them. No one looked at us or asked if we were ready or needed help. We were just standing there, in the front of the store, looking at them in awe. So of course we left.
Again I am appalled that no one would even ask if we could be assisted rather just assume we didn’t need anything.
I will never return to your store.

Thanks for the information, and I do apologize.  Unfortunately, no excuse, but I have had an overturn of staff and most are new, and are still in training.  This is not our policy at all to not greet people, and again, I do apologize, as they know this is my biggest pet peeve.  I will be discussing this with them again.  It is your decision if you decide not to return, but I do apologize and hope you can understand.  I would love for you to return and have a better experience.

What I think about this response:

My opinion has not changed.  Nothing Bundt Cake does not have good service because if they did she would try to entice me back into her store by offering me a free cake or discount or something to make amends.  I will not be back there.
