Tuesday, April 13th, 2010I have learned that if you publically flog your hair it will publically flog you right back and way worse.
You win hair I give up.
I partly think it is due to the weather; I think my hair is ready for summer though you wouldn’t know it since I just colored it darker. Whatever, once it actually gets warm and sunny here I will reward my hair with some golden wheat colors.
In other news I made and bound my first quilt and the binding took much longer than it should have plus it was a baby quilt so that shows you how slow I am. I’m talking like 4 hours, yeah.
I also found with all of the hard boiled eggs we have lying around from Easter an egg salad sandwich doesn’t have to be extremely time consuming using mixing bowls, mashers and spatulas. You can slap some miracle whip and mayo on some bread with a bit of mustard and then slice up your hardboiled egg and lay it on the bread with a sprinkle of paprika and you are set with a very unhealthy but tasty little sandwich.
Just thought you should know.

whatever! What is so unhealthy about a hard boiled egg sandwich? As long as you’re not slopping on the mayo too thick, it sounds like a nice healthy lunch to me. Add some tomatoes and avacado and Yum-o. Of course, I’m 20 lbs over weight – so maybe I don’t know what healthy is.
I agree with Michelle–but I like mine really wet with mayo. We just finished up the last of ours, and I don’t want to see another hard-boiled egg until next easter.
Tam, I really want to see pics of your quilt! And can I say something without sounding like a condescending asshole? I’m just a little proud and impressed with you! Now you can get started on your other quilt with the big 18 inch squares!
The quilt couldn’t be more perfect. I can’t believe it was your first quilt. It is flawless, and I am even talking about the “belly button”. We love it!
