Tammy's Bird Brain

I decided not to run the marathon this month but to take my time and find one out in the future that I can take my time and train and qualify for Boston. I am also a procrastinator so whatever. It is freezing in Utah now and it is especially hard to get myself moving. I also have been having foot problems every time I go running. It feels like my foot needs a good crack; which leads me to an early Christmas present that I am giving to myself and to Clint. It is a Foot Zoning session that will last one hour! I am unnaturally excited about it so luckily it is happening tomorrow because I don’t think I could wait much longer.


Over the weekend I went to my first Christmas party of the season that was with some friends. It was dinner and karaoke and my favorite part of the night was when I sang “You’re the One That I Want” (Grease) with my friend Ranie. I was thoroughly entertained by myself. I also tried out some Sing Star and found out I absolutely can not harmonize and the little bubbles that say “awful” which pop up to let me know how I am doing do not help me get any better. My next party is on Thursday and it is my work party; I have a feeling it will not top the first one. But hey what could top singing “Hold On” by Wilson Phillips and being rated “okay” while doing it.


I also learned over the weekend that a friend had a break in in his house and that he was confronted with knife. I can’t stop thinking about it and how vulnerable we are all. We all have a lot of trust for most of mankind that we get careless and think we are safe. I need to take some precautions i.e. yappy dog??? I don’t think I want a gun in the case it could be used against me. Anyways….


That is my life as of late.
