I am jealous of Julia Roberts and the like

The whole working mother thing is only for rich people.

Seriously, Julia Roberts makes it all look so easy but that is because she has millions of dollars to pay for the best quality child care possible and never has to deal with the days where her nanny can’t watch the kids so she must stay home from work. Seriously she just has to call the studio and say “I will be bringing my kids with me to work today so you better have someone amazing there to watch them or your stupid picture won’t be made.” And they jump as high as she wants them too so as to not upset her.

Well the rest of us peasents actually have to deal with the juggle of working motherhood.

I am just jealous.

I love my job, I love the people I work with, I love the people who help me be a working mom. It is just Thursday and Thursdays are always my crazy day because I don’t have a permanent babysitter. For some reason the whole world is really busy on Thursdays.

Now that that is out of the way….
Neil Diamond has the funniest, best Christmas songs. I love the drama he provides to even the cheeriest of Christmas songs.

Well, I am off to pick up Eva, eat, watch TV, go to sleep and do it again tomorrow.

Love.

  1. We really need to look into that PSE daycare idea….

  2. I understand. I know I don’t have a child, but I can imagine how hard it would be. I stress out about finding cat and dog sitters and that’s not an every day thing.

P.S. Your antispam words hate me. I can NEVER figure out if the L is an L or an i. It’s annoying! I haven’t gotten it right the first time EVER! Sorry for the rant.

  3. Oh I’m so glad you’re still posting….it’s like a constant in a sea of change! :-) Oh how we miss you guys….and Eva is growing up too fast. Sophie keeps asking to see “baby Eva”…but next time we see her she won’t be such a baby anymore….
    Hugs and Kisses,
