I was watching TBS or USA or something of the sort the other day.

I don’t know what I was watching, which is irrelevant, but there was an advertisement for the new George Lopez show.

Guess who was promoting it?……..

Our President.

And it was not an impersonator, it was actually President Obama.

Seriously.

It worries me that he is doing this.  Why does he care about the new George Lopez show on TBS?

Anybody?

I realize, I guess, that the president gets free time.  But really it comes with the office that you really don’t get your own free time.  Sorry.

President Obama,

Please stop trying to be the most popular kid.  You are already popular.  You are the President of the United States.  I realize it may be fun to have everyone in Hollywood love you but it is not in the country’s best interest so please wait until you are  done with this role to fill in your next dream role of endorsing everything you possibly can and settling disputes over beer.  Seriously, George Lopez?  Mr. President you have hit a new low.  You look a little desperate for TV face time. But, as long as you are throwing about lame endorsements I could use one please. I realize I am just an “unpopular (regular) American” but somebody’s got to do it.

I realize that if I stopped watching TV I would have missed this and would have never had the chance to be annoyed.
