My words are my only power.
I hate you Wells Fargo.
Here is the conversation that I had with them at work today:
Me: There is a couple fees on the account and there was a misunderstanding when I previously asked questions about this account. I would like to inquire about getting these fees removed.
WF: (without thinking or pretending to think or type or look up something) No I’m sorry those fees will not be removed.
Me: This is my first time working with WF and I have not had any issues in the past is there anything you can do?
WF: No, I’m sorry there’s nothing.
Me: Well, I am clearly not happy with WF and I don’t know if I want to continue to do business with you.
WF: Threatening to close your account is not going to change MY decision.
Me: Well, I guess I am not threatening any more I guess I will be closing my account.
WF: Lots of people threaten this every day and it does not change our policy.
Me: Great, I will close my account then.
Hmmmm….that’s interesting….lots of people threaten this everyday?

I will be writing a strongly worded written letter.
That’s all I can do.
It sucks.

I hate them too. Mark was banking there when we got married and I was not happy with their service. I had him switch over to US Bank. I love them and have never had a problem with them.
omg that same thing happened to me when i was like 18. one of my checks bounced and they retried like 10 times in one day. so i had 10 fees within like 3 hours!!!!! and they wouldn’t remove any of them! i closed the account too because they were sooooo rude to me! i was freaking 18 and it was my first bank account on my own. ridic.
i literally think this is the worst bank in the world.
Tammy: The banks are not anyone’s friend. I suggest a credit union in lieu of a bank. If you go for a bank, I wouldn’t suggest Chase: Slow and not the best service; also, outlandish fees for things like cashiers checks. Good Luck!
I have heard so many things about Wells Fargo that are NOT good. Sorry you had to deal with such a jerk on a high horse. I am glad you spoke your mind to them though. I hate them because they were so horrible to you too! I hate you Wells Fargo!
I told Jeremy about your experience tonight and he said he would call and threaten to close his business account if they didn’t write you a letter of apology. I’ll see if he was really serious about it tomorrow. He likes to bitch people out for being rude, so it might happen. He was shocked by how rude the customer service rep was. Total Jerks!!!
