Random but a Goodie

Leaving my current state is long over due and this quote has helped me to see the folly in holding on to things that are good and mostly dead. I think my body has moved on but my mind hasn’t. So onward and upward right?
Today is a good day. I love the sunshine and warm weather. I would love some watermelon and a curb to sit on but instead I am staring through tinted windows at the beckoning mountains.
I miss Eva. Today she is wearing a red tank top with a watermelon on it (maybe that’s why I want watermelon) and I want to to nuzzle her neck and kiss her bare shoulders. When she eats she reaches up to find my hair and instead of pulling it like she normally does she just lets it slowly pass between her fingers and then reaches up to do it again. I miss that. This morning I could hear her rolling around in her crib and when I went in her room she looked up at me and gave me a huge smile. There is not a word invented yet to describe the feeling the comes with that smile.
Sweet Eva-kins. I can’t wait for your slobbery hands to grab my face and for you to suck on my hair.
