Conan and Cancer

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

Yes, I love Conan and I thought he did a great job last night and I am so excited that he is doing The Tonight Show.  He was of course a little less goofy last night but he threw in some of his signature moves like the crazy eyes while drumming his fingers together.  And every time the audience would recognize one of these classic, stupid comedy moves they would go crazy.  I heard on a radio show that a lot of people in Utah don’t like Conan which is very disappointing.  I love him and will try to watch as much as I can.  If you don’t like him I think you are really missing out.  Who doesn’t like a guy who drives a 1992 green Ford Taurus?  Really?!

Nothing came of my premonition.  Well, at least not yesterday.  Dum dum duuuummmm…..
In a couple weeks I will be doing two relay races to raise money for the American Cancer Society.  I have a personal goal of $300.  The first race is the Relay for Life and I am the captain.  We will be spending 18 hours on a track where someone from our team must be walking at all times.  The symbolism of this is that cancer never sleeps and we need to fight back.  The second race is the Wasatch Back Ragnar where we will be running from Logan to Park City 187.9 miles.  Every penny we raise goes to cancer research.  Below is a link to my Relay for Life website.  If you can please donate.  Seriously, even $5 will help a lot.  Thanks for reading the plug.
