Today Could be Good

It is a beautiful day outside today and I am sitting at my desk staring at it wishing I was not at work. This is one of the last days of summer and though I am so excited for fall I really want to ditch work and go hiking for which would probably be the last time before it gets too muddy up in the mountains. Every morning I watch the weather reports and they keep saying that the temperatures are dropping and that we need to enjoy the last days of summer and I am not enjoying them at all. So, if anyone calls me today and is ready to go hiking I will probably go with you. Don’t you want to breath the crisp mountain air and actually go to a place where you can see the seasons changing right before your eyes????

Do you mind if we hike around the block? I’m wearing 3 inch heels, and frankly, I would probably pass out any longer.
I don’t do Powerflex at 6 AM, like some people.
That sounds so nice! All I’ve got to hike around here are fire ant mounds.
In response to your question about selling that illustration, I’m trying to get off my lazy butt and get some prints made of several of my illustrations before Christmas! I’ll let you know when I’m putting them in the shop.
Ooh … take me, take me! I miss hiking in the mtns; it was my favorite thing we did while we were there. Enjoy that mtn air for me!
